sonnet

Shakespearean Sonnet
From fairest creatures we desire increase,
That thereby beauty's rose might never die,
But as the riper should by time decease,
His tender heir might bear his memory:
But thou, contracted to thine own bright eyes,
Feed'st thy light's flame with self-substantial fuel,
Making a famine where abundance lies,
Thyself thy foe,
to thy sweet self too cruel.
Thou that art now the world's fresh ornament
And only herald to the gaudy spring,
Within thine own bud buriest thy content
And, tender churl,
makest waste in niggarding.
Pity the world,
or else this glutton be,
To eat the world's due,
by the grave and thee.

Modern Day Sonnet
Filling her compact & delicious body
with chicken páprika, she glanced at me twice.
Fainting with interest, I hungered back
and only the fact of her husband & four other people
kept me from springing on her
or falling at her little feet and crying
'You are the hottest one for years of night
Henry's dazed eyes
have enjoyed, Brilliance.' I advanced upon
(despairing) my spumoni.--Sir Bones: is stuffed,
de world, wif feeding girls.
-Black hair, complexion Latin, jewelled eyes
downcast . . . The slob beside her feasts . . .
What wonders is
she sitting on, over there?
The restaurant buzzes. She might as well be on Mars.
Where did it all go wrong? There ought to be a law against Henry.
-Mr. Bones: there is.

Analysis
About the way message is given is bit different
that shakespearean has a style of narrative, but
modern day seems like personal novel, I can sense
that Shakespearean describes in more detail trying
to make the reader feel more deeply, when modern
day seems more to give voice of the author's tone
and the mood of the sonnet.
I can hardly find any of the rhymes in modern day while I can see
some in the Shakespearean, in their it has end rhymes that repeats
the same sounds, but i think there are rhythmes in the modern day,
as it's more casual, it flows within the structure of the sentence.
Line numbers are supposed to be 19, and it is. It's a significant
rule for this poem. However, i wasn't able to find out about number
of syllable patterns in lines.
Pictures i have chosen has feelings that represents in each poem,
because in my poem Shakespearean style has warm deem feelings from
the texts, but modern day style has light blue atmosphere through
the meanings it's giving.
